Graduation season in Edirne and timing your booking
Trakya University's graduation ceremonies are mostly held in June, on different days faculty by faculty; in 2026 the ceremonies were spread between 11 June and 4 July. In these weeks, demand in the city is squeezed into a few days. We suggest booking your shoot time as soon as your faculty's ceremony date is announced.
In June, sunset in Edirne is at about 20:40–20:50. If the ceremony is in the morning, resting in the afternoon and coming to the shoot in the late afternoon leaves behind both the tiredness and the harsh midday light.

How far is the guesthouse from the university?
The guesthouse is in Kaleiçi, at İzmir Caddesi No 18. Trakya University's Karaağaç Campus, home to the historic railway station building, is about 3–4 km away. As graduation ceremonies can be held on different campuses, if you write your ceremony venue we will work out the travel time together.

The shoot, a celebration and a family table in Edirne
If you are thinking of a small celebration with the family after the shoot, a table can be set in the courtyard or under the glass roof. Families coming from out of town can stay at the same address during ceremony week and have breakfast at the guesthouse; as the number of rooms is limited during graduation weeks, we suggest writing early.
